SIM data plans and business models
Via its resellers and MVNO’s ASPIDER M2M offers a variety of SIM subscriptions and features, which all fit different use-cases and business models. While tailor-made solutions are possible please find here our default plans.
Postpaid M2M SIM
The postpaid M2M SIM is available for small to larger volume SIM card customers, seeking global mobile connectivity using a single SIM card solution.
Shipment can be in any ASPIDER form factor, and can optionally include customer logo’s on the SIM card packaging.
If wanted customer’s can benefit a test-data solution for in-factory testing, and enjoy auto provisioning features for amongst others’ an out-of-the box customer experience.
SIM Cards can be managed using an API interface or a web-based GUI
Prepaid M2M SIM
Using our prepaid global M2M SIM card ASPIDER offers the opportunity for any customer to enjoy ASPIDER’s global connectivity offering without the need to undergo any credit checks.
SIM management can be done via web-portal and GUI.
Optional M2M SIM
Our optional M2M SIM provides customers the opportunity to embed an SIM card in an hardware device for the price of the physical SIM card, without the commitment to actually activate an connectivity subscription.
Using the optional M2M SIM, which is available in the postpaid model, customers enjoy the opportunity to allow activation of those optional SIM cards embedded in their device they seem fit. This can be for example:
- devices shipped to the specific area ASPIDER has a favorable rate plan
- devices shipped to an specific area an alternative mobile subscription has no coverage
- devices shipped to an specific area a default fixed-line or WiFi connection is not available
Standby M2M SIM
The standby M2M SIM proposition allows our customer’s to embed ASPIDER mobile connectivity as an fall-back option that works instantly.
Being available in a pooled pre-paid solution, it allows our customers to embed global back connectivity which works instantly when needed, and is available for 5, 10 or 20 years after initial SIM card activation.
Applications include:
Fallback connectivity if fixed line connectivity fails. For example: continue you POS payments in case of land-line connectivity failure.
Fallback connectivity if primary mobile communication fails. For example continue your digital signage solution in case primary (local) connectivity provider experiences an network outage
Devices requiring minimal data usage for longer term, for example alarming applications.

Embedded sales M2M SIM
Providing an unique pre-paid solution, we allow embedded hardware manufacturers to embed connectivity and empower their product offering with global connectivity a s well.
With our unique ASPIDER Inside concept we allow anyone to ship an ASPIDER Inside SIM card, either welded on the PCB, already plugged-in using a standard SIM slot or as an plain single SIM card, and allow any global end-customer to engage in an pre-paid subscription using a ASPIDER Inside portal.
